About Kelly K

           California native, Kelly K grew up in Dana Point, but shortly moved back and forth from L.A. to Dana Point. The entertainment industry was ingrained in Miss K from a young age, as she gravitated to the business elements and often asked what makes this industry tick. From age 12, Kelly K was asked to model alongside her brother. As her brother was signed to Wilhelmina West agency, Kelly wanted to help push her brother’s career instead of pursue the in front of the camera aspect. As college came around the corner, Kelly K was involved in production on photo shoots, movie sets and advertising campaigns. From Luigi LaVazza, David LaChapelle, Jack Black, to Tommy Lee, Kelly developed her media and celebrity relationships. As she filtered through production, celebrities approached her to become their publicist based on her dedication and work ethic. 

Kelly K has been actively in the public relations work space since 2005. Starting out independent and then being asked to join different firms and help start them along the way. KK & Carter Public relations was the first firm Kelly K started. She has worked for Scott Hamilton film Public Relations, Vice President of The Virago, Inc, The Presstige Group Public Relations (TPGPR) as account executive of talent department and now her own entity as Kelly K Public Relations founder and CEO. 

While building this resume, Kelly K worked on campaigns such as the launch of the Kardashian Kaos store and celebrity poker tournament (Start of Kardashian endorsement events), Mel B workout clothing Flagship store Launch, DIDDY Invades Hollywood (NBA All Star Weekend), Snooki’s Yacht Party, worked with LMFAO, The Dr. Steve- O Show, cast members of MTV “The Hills” Brian Drolet and Jordan Eubanks.

Kelly K has also worked with Mel B, Sean Stewart, and the late Jeff Conaway, Outkast, plethora of reality talent on L.A. Ink and TLC shows, DJ Skribble, Nikki Sixx, Super model and How2girl Courtney Bingham Sixx, Gretchen Rossi, Nikki Lund, Slade Smiley, Arianny Celeste, Brittney Palmer, Ali Levine of Bravo’s “Stripped”, Big Regg of “The Doctor Steve- O Show”, OutKast, All 4 One, Derek Fisher, Gloria Govan, Dr. Sheila Nazarian, Comedy Central Star Tess Broussard, Shifty Shellshock, VH1’s “Daisy of Love”, NFL Football players, as well as event like, BHRC Los Angeles launch with Ali Landry, Gretchen Rossi, Teresa Guidice, and Dean Cain, Regard Magazine quarterly celebrations, Naluda Magazine red carpet events, Super Bowl Big Game bash with Funk Master Flex, CJ, J.I. and French Montana, Movie Premieres, TV Networks, Gifting Suites, Sundance Film Festival and the list goes on...
